Hi, I’m Sara.
I help motivated people get stronger, feel better, and build routines that actually last. My work blends years of hands-on experience in strength coaching and holistic nutrition with a no-nonsense, deeply personal approach.
After nearly 15 years in Santa Barbara as a fitness coach, holistic nutritionist, and gym owner, I stepped back to focus on raising my family and relocated to Bend, Oregon. Now, as I re-enter this space, I’m focused on working with clients who are ready to show up and do the work to feel stronger, more capable, and more grounded for the long haul.
I don’t follow a specific diet, and I don’t believe in cookie-cutter plans. I care about what’s sustainable, what feels good in your body, and what moves the needle in your life. Whether we’re working on your training, nutrition, or overall routines, I’ll always meet you where you’re at—with honesty, strategy, and support.
Outside of work, I’m usually wrangling my toddlers (Emi and Owen), lifting something heavy, taking long, meandering walks, or savoring a few quiet minutes with a book.
If you’re looking for grounded, real-world support—and you’re serious about change—you’re in the right place.
Experience & Credentials
Prior to co-owning Titan Sports Performance, I worked as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at Titan and several other local gyms, studios, retirement communities, and clinics from 2007 to 2015.
In 2013, I earned my MS in Holistic Nutrition with the goal of helping clients build sustainable, whole-food-based eating habits. In 2015, I was introduced to The Metabolism Plan and trained under its creator, Lyn-Genet Recitas, to work as a certified health coach specializing in anti-inflammatory nutrition.
After nearly a decade of misdiagnoses related to a chronic hormone imbalance, I developed a deep interest in women’s hormonal health. In 2019, I completed an apprenticeship with women’s health expert Nicole Jardim to deepen my expertise in this area.
At Titan, I provided nutrition coaching to individuals, groups, and students. I also programmed and led our adult group training classes, personal training sessions, and our Golden Gears senior fitness program. While I’m equipped to work with a wide range of populations, I have the most experience with:
Women’s hormonal health, including exercise and nutrition programs tailored to all life stages
Pre- and postnatal fitness and nutrition support
Geriatric fitness, including balance, strength, and flexibility training
Prehabilitation and post-physical therapy maintenance programs
Functional training to support activities of daily living
